About the Sport Event
The National Collegiate Athletic Association Tennis Championship is held every second semester of the academic year. It is divided into the Juniors (high school) and Seniors (college) tournaments. *Mapua Institute of Technology has the most championships both in the Seniors and Juniors division.
This 85th season, Colegio de San Juan de Letran is the host school for this sport event. Opening ceremonies was held last January 23, 2010 at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Vito Cruz, Manila.

The Knights, for their part, edged the Blazers, last year’s champions, 2-1, to emerge the lawn tennis title holders this year. Dave Regencio teamed up with Elnathan Abella in trouncing Larry Antigua and Daniel Bautista, 7-5, 3-6, 6-2, and then turned back a well-rested Martin Ramos in the deciding singles duel, 6-3. 7-6, to eke out the come-from-behind win.
